Just thought this would be a funny little thing to do, since the winner of this series was NID (never in doubt) after the second week. First, we'll have a ranking of the best of the best, and the worst of the worst. THE BEST 1. Rex's Kim Clijsters-74 Points, including titles in Cincinnati and the US Open 2. Ebony's Roger Federer-69 Points, including a title in Cincinnati and the finals of Canada 3. Casey's Rafael Nadal-65 Points, including a title at the US Open 4. Casey's Zvonareva-58 Points, including runs to finals of the US Open and Canada 5. Jackie's Novak Djokovic-57 Points, including a run to the finals at the US Open 6. Ebony's Wozniacki-55 Points, including a title in Canada and semifinals of the US Open 7. Dixie's Andy Murray-42 Points, including a title in Canada 8. Jackie's Maria Sharapova/Seg's Mardy Fish-32 points, including runs to the Cincinnati finals and the US Open Fourth Round 10. Casey's Robin Soderling-30 Points, including a run to the US Open Quarterfinals THE WORST 5. Tsvetana Pironkova-4 Points, Including no-shows at both Premier Events 4. Seg's Lleyton Hewitt-4 Points, Including a no-show in Canada and a first round exit at the US Open 3. Casey's Croatians-3 Points, Including first round losses everywhere 2. Andrey Golubev-1 Points, Including no-shows at the Master's Events and a first round loss at the US Open 1. Theo's Serena Williams-0 Points, Including never playing. Honorable Mention to Nadia Petrova's US Open outfit. Best Stick Save Winner: Dixie drops, and then reclaims Mikhail Youzhny right before the US Open begins. Youzhny would go on to make the semifinals of the championship, Dixie's best player by round. Biggest Flop Duel awards to Theo. One for using his first round draft pick on the injured Serena Williams, and two for his draft pick of Jelena Jankovic, who secured only 15 points total as a top 5 player. Deadliest Player Rex's Kim Clijsters, holding a 7-1 record in head-to-head competition Honorable Mentions: Mardy Fish, Andy Murray, & Caroline Wozniacki, who each amassed a 5-2 head-to-head record. Deadest Players The following players all had the unique distinction of not winning a single head-to-head matchup. Jackie's Kvitova: 0-1 Jackie's Golubev: 0-1 Rex's Melzer: 0-1 Casey's de Bakker: 0-1 Theo's Berdych: 0-1 Theo's Jankovic: 0-1 Rex's Petrova: 0-2 Rex's Dementieva: 0-2 Seg's Li: 0-2 Jackie's Querrey: 0-2 Jackie's Isner: 0-2 Rex's Gilles Simon: 0-3 Casey's Yen-Hsen Lu: 0-3 FINAL FANTASY STANDINGS 7. Theo-135 Points 6. Jackie-141 Points 5. Seg-157 4. Dixie-182 3. Rex-197 2. Casey-203 1. Ebony-239 |

I just love the win-win orientation. There is a silverlining even when you lose. Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass... It's about learning to dance in the rain. Edited by Ebonymuse, Sep 14 2010, 11:09 AM.

Congrats to team Ebony! Kudos to the rest of you for putting your teams together. After the top players, I wouldn't know how to assemble a group ready for battle. |

Nice going Ms Ebony. And Barb, get your feet wet, don't be afraid of a little rain..... You probably know a lot more than you think you know, and you can top heavy it with guys. Also when submitting your list throw the kitchen sink on it, just watch your ordering.... the people you want most should be listed first. And who knows, you might get lucky. I doubt Lisa really thought Fran would win the French. |

Congrats to Ebony for winning the Fantasy game.. there is soo much I want to say to all the participants of this game, but discretion and modest prevent me from saying too much. I won't mention the cheating, the lying, the trashtalking, the manipulations and bending of the rules... No, modesty , prevents me. But in the words of one of our own..you all can break a leg... (and I mean that in the most sincere and hearfelft manner..) Did I mention that worthless gal Serena gave me zero points..what the heck was she doing, playing TWISTER in the dark on a restaurant floor while 50 pounds of sharded glass was falling all around her?? Theo whose pride and dignity is intact |

Thanks for the notes of congrats. Who would have thunk it. I am still so tickled about this. I remember my first fantasy game on the board. The performance was so poor I swore I'd not enter another. But, it is so much fun for me. I've had some trials in my life over the past few months. The fantasy was a welcome break, and truth be told, I never really like to miss an opportunity to act a complete nut. Nut I was, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a pleasure hanging with this group of fantasy players!! Casey, I just love the features of this board!!!

Barb, I agree with Casey!!! You just jump it, and do what you can. Seg entered late and still managed to do okay. Just think about who can win a few matches for you after you've decided on your top choices. I expect to see you getting your feet wet at the next fantasy meet.
