The SF Giants have won the World Series..

It is the equivalent of Winning Wimbledon.

Congrats to the World Champhions...!!

56 years in the making! Great win and a FLAWLESS World Series to boot, good stuff, I recall when I was in grad school in SF going out to the Stick and watching them get beat down on cold, foggy afternoons in the cheap seats, and, wondered will they EVER win the World Series, and then along comes that long haired, odd ball pitcher Lincecum, that I couldn't figure out and, next thing WINNERS, good stuff and its party time in the Bay Area!

People don't realize how COLD it was to watch Giants game back then at the STick, the wind chill factor was beyond the pale. and this was in the summer...!

Ah, Theo you don't have to tell me of that! I went one year and got there on a nice SUNNY warm afternoon, and it turned out to be a 12 or 13 inning game and by the time we left I thought I was going to get pneumonia, but, I still think it was a great location, haven't been to SF to see a game in the new park, but, have heard its a great site. My brother has season tickets for the Padre's, who blew their season, but, I digress, and, that's a great park too and according to my dad easy for him to get to, all he does is hop on the trolley and it lets him out right at the gate, which is way better than it use to be. But, I still like the one here for the D-backs, just something neat about it being 115 outside and only 72 at game time!

Way off topic, but, I'll end it with a way to go SF Giants!
