It certainly looked as if that would be the case. I can imagine Lisa squirmed the entire match. De Bakker played a fine match. When he came back to take the first set, after Monfils was so far ahead, I was wholly impressed. Half way through the third set, I left the match for another match, seeing it as a done deal for T Mo. Went to live scores later, only to learn that Gael took the 3rd set (Monfils is not out until the final bell clangs). The moment seemed to have become too large for T Mo. I watched the remaining match, on and off. De Bakker was making far more errors than earlier. Also, he seemed to be limping, or was that the movement of a discouraged man? |
