Took a chance on EBAY a couple of years ago and got a pretty good deal on a green '53. Have since done a lot of work on it and the 3B page has helped immensely; I've finally broken down and become a member on this new forum. So for my first post: I briefly looked on the Specs and Tech page for paint information but didn't see anything on wheels and I think I have seen some prior posts about wheel color but don't remember anything conclusive. Were there options for wheel color off the assembly line? Mine is the willow green with black wheels. I've seen white wheels with the green body and that's mighty fine. For Oltime: I'm in K.C. and noticed your 3B pics by the Missouri River. My job entails many Missouri River issues and when I saw your picture on the boat ramp I knew right off it to be on the Big Muddy. You on the east side of the state? Cork |

Cork, Really glad you finally made the transition from our old B.B. We really need our old regulars. After you use this Board a while it gets to be the new norm. Ya thats me taking a rare pic of my 1953 on the Mighty Mo. back in the early 90's. http://www.film.queensu.ca/CJ3B/Photos/Fin...shdiecker3B.JPG |
