Does anyone know the length of the door channels for the original canvas tops. These mount on the sides of the cowl. Walcks sells the channels for the 3A but they are too short. I may have to weld the short ones together but I need to know the length. Thanks. Craig |

Thanks Randy! The picture really helps too. Mine has a series of holes for snaps etc. Now I can see where they mount. Craig |

Craig, when I got the 3B the PO had the top installed and he had slide the kayline doors into them ... the channel over top windshield looks to be made from similar stock and its inner diameter and shape appear to be same ... ![]() others on 3B page with similar setup ... Randy |

Is that 'channel' standard, or you need to mount it on order to fit the top? |

Craig, I just sent you a email. I do have them. Did not know what I had. All I had ever seen on 3B's was the snaps. |

JeepMKD , most - maybe all the ventilated popout windshields I have seen like mine seem to have them ... the kayline softtop I have is probably 20 or 30 years old, it uses the side cowl channels but uses its own aluminum slat screwed to the top of the windshield and therefore doesnt use the one built in ... I would guess they came from factory with the setup pictured above as it looks to me the top of windshield channel is integrated into the design ... there are small divits along the top seem that look like it was pressed together in addition to the bolts ... the cowl side channels are not pressed just bolted on and easily removed ...
