my windsheild is hard to latch to the cowl,have everything adjusted as far as possible and i cant unlatch it by hand must use a stap to pull it,to latch it i use my foot.i have a new rubber on the windsheild i got fro walcks,could it be wrong one? |

well it was a new one when i installed it but that has been 5 years ago are the 2a 3a the same piece as a 3b,thought it would loosen up but has got no better. |

have you tried sitting it out in the hot sun another trick is boil the rubber gasket in water and put it on while its cooling the heat helps form it better from what I heard |
3b'ers do it on all 4's

I would assume that the quality of windshield seals varies drastically. Jamie gave me a used one and the ends weren't even formed to match the curvature of the lower w/s frame work. Where did you get that thing Jamie ? I have not tried to use it but, hmmmm ? |

I am now putting parts back on my jeep after painting it. I also purchased one from Walck's. They had 2 different ones. A cheap one and a more expensive one. I bought the more expensive one but haven't put it on yet. Which one did you purchase? NC Nick |
