buddy came over to help on the 3b today, figured hell why not so I asked him to seperate the trans from transfercase , well he did alright he pulled it apart with out pulling the pin and gear out of transfercase , now I have a tranny in little bits and peices again lol , since he pulled main shaft out of the trans now it needs rebuild a second time but now thats later down the road since Im not using that tranny anyway , my point is if your going to help and your not sure about something ask first dont just dig in and figure it out as you go ,it took me almost 5 hrs the first time to put it together now that was waisted time since I got to do it again going to prob take another 5 or so hrs since now all the parts are all in a big pile of parts inside the tranny Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr just one of those days
I thought he had more sence than that but I guess not . but atleast I got all the parts
well just needed to vent before I said something I would regret to him . I know he means well but dont do something if you dont know how scary part is he's a mechanic now I think I may have to check everything he did on my jeep just to be safe nothing like added fun to a long ass project thought I was almost finished
guess not
