I picked up a nice Warn overdrive over the weekend. It'll go well with the Overdrive to PTO adaptor I bought last month! Anyway, I have everything I need for this overdrive, except the bolt that holds the gear cluster one, along with the special clip, don't have the gaskets, don't have the shifter mount. I'll be calling Herm for those parts soon. Any advice on installation? Anything to look for? I'll be doing this over the winter. |

For typical jeep useage I consider the Warn O.D. to be about the best option going. They are probably second only to a good set of free wheel hubs. You going to put those on your 1953 B ? Congradulations. Excellent decision ! |

Oldtime, yep, they're going into my '53 this winter, along with an original Harrison heater, A nice set of dualmatic lockout hubs, seat re-upholstering, new 7.00x16 NDCC tires on a set of fresh powder-coated rims, a really nice tailgate, a steering stabilizer and a few other goodies I've been collecting this year. |

Herms website has all the dos and don'ts. He is very easy to talk to on the phone. Whatever you do DO NOT use a impact to install or remove a overdrive! |

An impact is the one tool I don't even have! I plan on ordering quite a bit of stuff for it from Herm. |
