Here is a pic of a 64 Willys I bought from my mother in law after my father in law passed away, he had owed this Willys since 79 and bought it from the original owner. It has 9699.6 miles on it. it runs great but the body is GONE!!! (Michigan Winters). The Willys was only drove in the winter to plow a parking lot and a couple driveways, this is why there are such few miles on it. people tell me because the body is gone and has to be completely replaced I got ripped off paying $200 for it, what do you all think???

One real good winter & you will pay for her & her new tub,,, Get out the duct tape & drive it ,,, with winter coming on make some money with her one more time for your Dad in law ,, Id change the oil too... & everyone that said you were takin  ,, Just charge them 10% more to plow them out... :)

You'd be surprised how that old top will hold a body togeather,, I ran my 74 CJ-5 for 5 yrs with duct tape (to keep the Maryland snow & salt out).. & I had the same kind of top,,I know it held it togeather for me till I could fine a 3B body to fit her,,

She looks good & remimber to plow your Mom in law for free..

I paid 4 times more for just my Body,, (it had been lenthened 4ins)

I take back all the things I've said about mother-inlaws over the years , I now see I was wrong ...

cant put a price on the family connection, in parts alone its worth 10x that on ebay ...

plow a few driveways and use the $ for a new tub - it and you deserve it :)

Ray Dog, when you start buying parts for your 3B you will realize your mother-in-law gave it to you. $200 is practically nothing. I'd say you owe her at least a nice dinner at her favorite restaurant. To think you can even make money with that little Willys!

Ray,

If I were you, I'd be taking out MIL to a nice restaurant for quite a while!

If it's a good runner and the frame isn't in too bad of shape, you can invest less than three grand in a complete new repro tub, give it some TLC for a couple hundred more, and have yourself one fine 'lil 3B that perhaps some day, you can pass on to your children.
