Go find you a muffler shop. I purchased a kit from another provider. I ened up taking my to a muffler shop to add a bend so I could install a winch. He showed me where it did not fit quite right and my rear axel was bending it. For what you paid for the kit you get a custom muffler installed.

I just bought the same set from Walck's and it fit well.
The price is right and shipping was fair and reasonable.

The difference between buying a kit and having a custom system installed at a local muffler shop is that the muffler shop can install "aluminized" tubing and muffler (same as on most new vehicles today that will last and last) that will not rust as the repro cold-roll steel system will do.

George,
I followed the wise idea of "Old jeep" Neil and went with his idea. The exhaust parts are available from Walker exhaust . I used their website to find the part numbers and even the nearest local dealers and phone numbers. Best to check multiple dealers as some will only quote an installed price and not a piece by piece price. Come to find out three of the four dealers in my area were buying from the forth dealer as they were a parts store. I bought the main pipe that runs from the front pipe to the muffler for less than 58 CDn dollars. The tail pipe was 24 and the muffler is my next purchase and a a bit more than the american supply house prices at ~86$~Cdn but it it is a correct fit.

I have to agree with Larry (tx) I went to a custom muffler shop had the "aluminized" tubing and muffler" installed on my 74 Cj-5 & that was over 5 years ago ,, This is the frame Im using for my 3b project & it looks like it is brand new,, I will use it in the project, Still nice & shiney as if it was put on last week.. Then it was $125 dont know what it cost now,, But its worth it ,,

It was a Mom & Pop shop not a National muffler shop,, Good workmanship even welded all the seems ,, Ill repalce the donuts & use it another 5 years ,,

Well my last jeep got a pre-formed aluminized pipe from Northstar Willys.
I will have to agree, perhaps ALL prebent exhaust pipes (long section) are poorly formed.
Everyone single one I've seen bends the pipe down right into the rear axle tube. DUH !

Regarding local muffler shops to have the system installed, if there is a shop that specializes in forming systems for the hot rodder and classic car crowd, that's the place to go...............

My local Jeep parts supplier told me about 5 years ago that he couldn't get in the Canadian made Walker exhaust.
I don't know if that holds true or not.
