Rub it in!

Colorado last year was our favorite vacation, only wish we had done some of the jeeping in a Willys! (although ground clearance, roll bar, seat belts, etc were some extra comfort on some of the more technical stuff)

Enjoy and take lots of pictures.

Jamie, before heading back this way into 102 + degree daily temps with no rain whatsoever even being mentioned in the forecasts, hitch some of that fine cool weather to the rear end and tow it back; (if you can manage that, I'll throw in the 11" brake set for noth'n, ha!).

Bobster, my former next door neighbor set up his new machine shop there in Sturgis (Lonnie Isam's Competition Machine) three years ago and has sent me some GREAT photos of the rally from time to time. Are you sure you were looking FOR Jamie, and not AT some other interesting items often seen hanging 'round that event, ha!

Made it to 13000' today. Coming down was much harder. Jason is going to Jefferson City. I will not be able to make it this year. Headed back to Houston early in the morning.

The 1st day we went 4 wheeling North of Buena Vista out of Granite. Second day we where East of Buena Vista up int the national forest. 3rd day we drove to Salida on east up into the Mountains and then North along the ridge back towards Buena Vista The last day we drove up to Mt Antero. First four nights we stayed Chalk Creek Campground in Nathrope. Great place with very clean facilities. After the wife flew home we moved up to the National Forest East of Beauna Vista at 9500'. The San Isabel National Forest Ranger District publishes an off road map trails open for Atv, Jeeps and Motor cycles. Their phone number is 719-539-3591. Mike whom is a ranger there is the one whom sponsors the Fall tour every year.

Outstanding photos, Jamie! Looks like a real fun time and I think that W/O hubcap on your spare is a nice touch! Thanks for sharing!
