Does anyone know what size socket I need for the crankshaft pulley nut? I'm guessing it's about 1 3/8 or 1 1/2. I planned to pick up a socket on my way home from work and I forgot to measure it before I left the house this morning. It would save me a trip home and then back to the auto parts store if someone knew the size off the top of thier head. Thanks |

63 Owner, I have a 63"3B. I recently had to replace my timing gear and had to remove the Crankshaft pulley. The size is 1 3/8 or 35mm. I needed to purchase a impact socket to remove the nut. Any local auto parts store will have a 35 mm but not the 1 3/8. It will cost about $15 US. They are the SAME size. Good luck. NC Nick |

Thanks for the tip Nick. I have been having trouble finding anything larger than 1 1/4 at the local stores and haven't made it to Sears yet to see what Craftsman offers in single sockets. I'll probably check with the local stores again. Bob |
