I used to build targets for Aberdeen proving grounds years back, Seen them blow up a couple Blazers & one School bus There was alot of jeeps running around dont recall any 3Bs .. Even built a device that was a jet engine on a Semi trailer & it would blow across the range from left to right & they would check there ammo with it & self guided rockets.. |

Mike, Great bunch of pictures. Thanks. I know it's a chore to load a bunch of pictures. I really thank you for the close-up pics of the two-speed manually operated winch. In one picture, you are pointing at an indent in the passenger side floor. Is that the "famed" alignment indent I've read about? I've never had an original floor in good shape. |

Thanks guys. I know how important it is to find something rare and get as much info on it as possible. If one of you guys found a 1945 cj2a I hope you would do the sane and post as much as you could over on the 2apage.com. the funny thing is this was on my lunch break. My Xj's fuel pump took a crap on me. Turned my lunch into a fun adventure. Need more pics??? Ill just take a new jk next time... lol check them out! Very impressive! Www.adamsjeep.com look at out modified inventory. Thank you for the compliment on my Cj. It was a 7year project. Youtube user name is mikeg576. Or check out thecj2apage.com under" your project" title is "started body work today". |

Yes the dent im pointing at is a original alignment dent. We've been seeing them on the 2a's that have good floors. I think someone is remaking them. There is very little welding on this jeep. The drivers side front floor has a patch you can see in the pics. Its in very good shape for a east coast jeep. |

someone was asking earlier in the week or last week about pricing CJ3B's. he paid 3500 for this one and i would say he paid a fair price. maybe a little on the high side. my opinion. |

Really? You feel 3500 is a lil high? I guess being in Maryland the jeep is concisered no rust. I figured for a drivable jeep that would be good. |

That's funny, I thought $3500 was low considering it's an M606 is pretty good shape overall. But of course I'm figuring in the east coast jeep thing too. Most of the jeeps I see are rusted out basket cases that people still want $2500 for. |

Jeeps that ware running around with street sign floors or sheet metal screwed/riveted in place. I see these jeeps with bondo and fiber glass trying to be sold for 2000 and up. This 606 has non of that. The rot and holes you see are the problems. And the frame is perfect! |

With that brass tag on the dash, $3,500 is low in my opinion. You would have interest not only from the vintage jeep market, but from the military vehicle restoration groups as well. |

My jeep still had the original floors with the alignment dent. I also noticed that his engine setup is very much like mine. i would still like to park mine next to it and yours Mike after Irene passes. Wonder if it ever had a flip out windshield??? |
