With everything thats been going on this year, Ive had little time for working on my replacement tub so I decided to shoot some 24087 semi gloss paint on my tub to get my M606 clone project in work. This tub is pretty much a rust bucket so a little more OD paint can't hurt. My other tub is patiently waiting in thr garage. You might say I'm polishing a turd... ![]() IMG]http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g18/willysnut/new%20paint/0827111139b.jpg[/IMG] ![]()

if this is a turd, i would hate to see it when you get the new body on and finish her. as a lumber salesman, when you go on a sales call/calls with no orders, they call that a turd hunt. |

Still working on welding up extra boltholes in the windshield frame, but I installed my vehicle markings, I used the same format as others here on the board. I'm pleased with how it turned out so far, might stuff some bondo in the right side of my tub to further polish the turd. Can't wait to install the windshield frame and call it good to go for now. Look close and you'll see the rot covered with paint <_< ![]() ![]() ![]() |

What are your plans for this tub when you install the new tub? I am looking for something in that condition for my farm service 3B. I do not want to invest a lot of time or money. I already got a trailer queen, I want something to use. I am a little south of central WVa. Thanks for the photos, I enjoyed. |

That tub looks as good or better than mine before restoration. Depending on your skill level, I would have bought replacement panels and a mig welder instead of the import tub. |
