Hi ,
when looking at ronalds posting asking about RAAF colours i noticed that the spare is mounted on the side as usual for left hand drive Jeeps but as his is right hand drive i think that as jeeps tend to lean down on the drivers side i reckon this extra weight would increase the list, i would be inclined to move it over to the other side which would be kerbside for him as it is for lefties. I wonder if its on the opposite side to the driver to counteract the lean or is it safer to have the spare kerbside.
but would moving it detract from keeping it stock? any thoughts?

Take a look at the inner wheel well on your jeep. One side has a reinforcement -- that is for the spare tire.

I'd locate the spare tire on the side with the reinforcement since that's why it is there.
