Hello all, I have two different crankshaft pulley nuts and dont know which one is correct for my year jeep. Is there an early or late design?? I checked walcks website be they only list one type of nut. The short one. The engine I'm assembling is from 1955, my jeeps a 53. Which one is correct? ![]() Thanks. |

Both are correct. The larger nut is for use with a hand starting crank. Low compression ratio allows hand cranking. The hand cranks were mostly used on L-134 Go-Devils. The shallow nut is standard. |
