If I were to look for a replacement engine is there anything special I should look for? Or are they pretty much interchangeable? All the 134's around here appear to be in, or out of, CJ5's... Thanx in advance... Warren |

Any F-134 Hurricane will work just fine. There are a very few vintage and model peculiarities over the production period from 1950 through 1971. The minimal differences during the production run are practically insignificant concerning engine interchange from one jeep to another. Changes may include the crankcase ventilation system, the compression ratio, the rocker bracket assemblies, throttle linkage and the engine accesories. |
