I'm still wondering this: If the Mayans were as smart a breed of indians as we're often led to believe, why are there none of them still around today; hmmmmmmmmm..................? |

I think that the world did not end last night, but with the wind howling through the trees and the holler I halfway expected to see some zombies with wooly/furry mouths -- -- I guess that would be ---- zombie alpaca-lips?? However, the world MAY have ended last night because I'm near Cincinnati, and, to quote Mark Twain... If the world comes to an end, I want to be in Cincinnati. Everything comes there ten years later. |

I've always wondered why the Mayans could predict the end of the world in 2012 but not the arrival of the Spaniards in the 1500s. |

On Thursday I returned all of my powered milk, sardines, spam and bottled water to the store where I bought it, told them I don't even need my money back for the stuff because tommorrow is not going to come so I will not need that stuff. Well here it is Sat in the NOrthwest and I am back at the store buying the same stuff again, I should have got my money back on Thursday. Sometimes you just don't think things thru all the way. Like starting out on a trail run without spare stuff. You got to make sure you know all you need to know before leaving the garage. I should have checked the history of the Mayan's before returning my supplies of stuff. Dick W. Spokane wa. |
