Hi All, I have a 1954 CJ3B with a F134 motor, milage unknown. My engine has developed a loud lower end knock and I've pulled it in order to rebuild it. I have however found a 1961 CJ5 with a good running F134 with about 40,000 on it. The price is reasonable and I could use the CJ5 to replace my plow truck down the road. My question is can I swap this out directly? Thanks Matt |

Yes excepting that 1954 was a 6 volt system while 1961 are 12 volts standard. |

Thanks OldTime, My Jeep was converted to 12 volt in the past so this is a plus. Matt |
