Thanks oldtime, i am looking at that page and can see my research was in the right direction. I am guessing that i can use that starter on my 1953 cj3b engine instead of my orig. 6 volt starter, guessing that it will be better to rebuild the 12 volt instead of having the 6 volt rewound to 12 volts. (f 134 engine) But what does the 9c 17 stand for? Thanks, Willow Green |
