That road has to be turnpike smooth, or the Jeep has to have the best suspension in the world on it, or the camera is top of the line giggle proof That's an interesting trip, and it looks like you have a nice paint job on your hood

Old retired fart living in Ione, WA. I have a 1964 CJ3B. Recently overhauled original motor, transmission and overdrive. 11" Bronco drum brakes on all 4. Needs a new coat of paint but that will have to wait till next summer, it's next summer and I'm working on that now UPS & FEDEX will continue to profit

Thanks for sharing! I love pretty much any old jeep video but it's really cool seeing the scenery in parts of the world I haven't been before! I got a GoPro earlier this spring, but haven't used it on the jeep yet. |

yes it was nice to see some back roads in Cambodia. but I am sure it would have been a different ride along the same road 40 years ago. |

That was a really fun little Jeep ride. ! Early stock standard Jeeps are ideal on those infrequently graded dirt / gravel roads. |

Another Jeep cruise from Kampot, (a small French Colonial town in southern Cambodia) to some prehistoric caves, and a khmer rouge force labour dam project. Southern Cambodian CJ-3B Cruise from Kampot to the "Secret" Lake Accompanied by 60's Khmer Rock & Roll ![]() Planning to take the Jeep to Angkor Wat (about 12 hours away) later this year - and take it for a spin around some Indiana Jones'esque ancient temples ![]() Video is sped up 4 times, and the old GoPro camera does smooth out lots of the bone-shaking roads. |

Just make sure the mount is level - my vids all have a slight lean to it due to wonky mount placement ![]() |

Hands down, a most enjoyable ride, but glad I was the passenger as I wouldn't have had a clue whether to turn left or right, much less which road to turn on, ha! I think possibly a CAT D10E pulling a tandem sheepsfoot roller, working with a #12 CAT maintainer may help a great deal with the dirt roads! |

Nah not a fisherman myself, that lake just has a few shack restaurants, selling local food and cold beer. No doubt there would be some sort of fish there, but never tried. It's a nice place to just sit and relax and down a couple of cold ones

hehe! That's for sure - they do re-grate most of the roads once a year - but the monsoon rains turn them into muddy potholey messes, which are quite fun to navigate! |
