Gary, I've bought a good many pieces of canvas from Mona Roth, mostly seat covers, 1/4 ton trailer covers and a summer top, all for military jeeps, and I can attest that the quality of her work is excellent. I've also bought a set of black vinyl seat covers from her for my '53 3B and though I've yet to install those covers, they're perfect in every way that I can see. Actually, I can say without a doubt that her work is superior to may others. The only problem that I'm aware of in dealing with Mona is that she sometimes is quite slow in getting the products out in a reasonable time frame; (a fellow jeep club member and often contributor to this 3B forum had this situation happen). If you speak to her about a specific product, a top I'm assuming in your case, simply ask when she can have it ready for shipping, then if you buy the item, have her send you an e-mail stating the delivery time. As to the 3A bows fitting the 3B bow pockets, the widths should be the same, but I cannot remember if the heights are identical. |
