Our 54' CJ-3B has an incurable problem. When ever it gets close to a dirt road or a off road trail, it slips it's transfer case into 4 WD and low range, the tire pressure usually drops to about 12 psi. The 134 cuin engine starts on it;s own and if I don't jump in and steer I have no idea where it is going to go. So I go with the flow and we find places for this highhood to let it do what it does best, get down and dirty. I guess I don't really have a problem with it's restlessness and I try to keep it entertained by getting it close to an off road trail as often as I can. Is there a cure for these awsume vehicles that I don't know about, short of making it a street jeep? I know it would hate my if I even think that. Dick W. Spokane Wa. |

Sometimes it's best to do as you do. Let the Olde Steel Horse grab the bit in it's teeth and you just hang on to see where you windup. ENJOY !!!! |

Reward it with a shot of non ethnol gas, a bit of oil and a warm wash and wax and a place out of the weather and it will continue to enjoy your company. |
