What is the best way to clean the ceramic fuel filter element from a sediment bowl fuel filter? |

I suggest you submerge it in gasoline (solvent) and lightly blow air into the filters core. Then remove from gasoline and reverse purge the ceramic element with high pressure from an air gun. That's how I occassionally clean my Carter ceramic type glass sediment bowl filter elements. |
