Hi guys, I purchased a new water pump but it doesnt seem to have the bypass tube directly below the outlet next to the thermo housing. By the time I realised it was already on the engine  It does however have a tube directly above the fan which is at a left angle, which I think was for the heater (which I dont have) Can I use it for the bypass or would there be another issue that could crop up? Hope this made sense, input welcome as always... |

Simply stated Willys did not see a need for the bypass hose and so it was deleted. Myself I have rebuilt and operated several Hurricanes engines. None of my rebuilds were ever equipped with the bypass hose. No engine temperature problems were ever encountered on any of my rebuilds. |

Thanks Oldtime, I might try it without and only use the by pass idea if there's a problem. |
