Does any know if a M416 trailer is the right size to pull behind a CJ3B?

I might know where one is.

It should look good and tow nicely behind a 3B. The only detail possibly needing attention is the hitch. If original, the 416 should have a lunette ring for a pintle hook.

Yep Jerry, it'll go perfectly behind the 3B. If it is in good condition and you want a jeep trailer, and you can get it for a reasonable price, latch on to it before someone else does as they're getting quite pricy these days. Only drawback with the 416 is that the rims don't match the 3B rims, but that's not a biggie in my opinion! Also, like Rus says, if the trailer has a *Lunette eye hitch, get yourself a pintle hitch and it'll bolt directly on the rear end of the 3B.

For heaven's sake, please never cut a good lunette eye trying to fabricate a coupler type hitch as they're much too valuable!

I noticed it does have a ring for a hitch.

Thank you for your help. I'll see what I can do.

They did make a pintle for the jeep that bolts right on if you can find one.

The M416 is perfect for the 3B. I bought a new pintle for mine at Tractor Supply just a few months ago. They will bolt right on to the 4 bolts in the frame.
And surprislingly to me the tail gate still folds down all the way.
