I take lots of pic's, but do I take pic's before I take things apart? Nooooooooo! is this the correct setup for the post? It's really hard to understand from the parts manual and I think mine is different anyway.

That really depends on what particular model of distributor you have. Please identify your particular distributor or else provide pics of it. |

It looks to me like you have it correct if you're going to have the housing between the large flat washer on the left and the camlock (my word) looking thing to the right of the open area. I found this drawing in the electrical section of Service Manual 1002-R5. Main concern , make sure bolt is insulated from the metal housing. Good luck
