I and Mr.Balesh who owns a beautiful dj3a,were wondering if the dj 3a also had two dataplates like the cj3a .one on the firewall and one on the right rear wheel fender behind the seat.
It would be very informative to know if these came with the rear dataplate and if yes any pictures of the same.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

DJ3A came with tags (SN, body-trim and special sales order tags) on firewall, the military M38 jeep did come with SN tag behind pass seat besides dash tags but dont think the CJ3A did.

What & where they put the export models data tags on the DJ or CJ is unknown by this poster. I have seen military DJs with MIL tags on dash.

In India I have seen most of the cj3 a' s carrying a dataplate behind the passenger seat on the right side in addition to one on the firewall.may be most of these had been a part of an army order!
Most/all of the dj' s here are 1964 manf.and rhd vehicles with floor gears and thus the doubt regarding the dataplate location at a second site ,the rear fender.
Members on the forum owning 1964 dj's could probably help.
Regards.
