Buy the way Boys!!
Was just over cruising on the 2Apage, and under the General Discusion, there is a post of a 2WD DJ in pristine condition for sale in California. Apparently it has been stored inside, and the asking price is 6K!!
It says 100% condition!!
The post is only about 3 hours old!!

Thanks for pointing that out! I'd seen pics of the jeep before but decided to take a closer look.

There's pictures of it over on e-willys. According to comments it first appeared "in the barn" for sale with asking price of 4000.00

Other comments go on to say it actually SOLD right after that for 3500 dollars.

It seems a wise investor made the purchase, washed off the dirt and it is NOW priced on craigslist at 6500 or best offer....and now perhaps 6000.

It's got a real interesting 'to me'.....hard top on it,....rear view mirrors mounted on the forward part of both fenders, a spot light, and it 'did' have either a chrome or stainless beauty ring cover on the Spare tire that has now been removed. I wonder if these were factory, dealer, or aftermarket at the time options.

Wish I'd have been at the swap meet. I'd have asked him what he's going to do with the spare tire ring!!! I wouldn't mind having it for myself!!!

Looks like it started off as a convertible and then someone made a hard top for it. One of the nicest shaped tops I've seen yet. PapaC, you need something for the cold winters don't you?
