Thanks Glen I sent him a message asking if he would sell one separate. I'v got 6 of these wheels but need one more to build a future planned trailer for my DJ. Plans are to build it in a lightweight vintage style, color matched to my DJ and complete with matching ALA Taillights, and matching hubcaps. That would also give me a chance to utilize STEVES old tailgate and modify and use my old bent front axle. I haven't mentioned it yet but if this doesn't come through and if anyone else has a matching wheel I'm interested. Charles |

We've had this info previously, but early 50's Nash Rambler 15 inch 4 stud wheels fit perfectly on the DJ3A and accept the W hubcaps. With trim rings you can't hardly tell the difference. These aren't easy to find either. |

Agreed. Sort of like finding hens teeth or a needle in a BIG haystack. Price for -1- from the Craig'slist ad is a smooth hundred bucks which includes having the old tire dismounted and disposed of. Does not include shipping. 'Guessing' I could look for 'another' year and still not find another individual rim for sale. My experience is most or at the very least many real DJ guys don't sell these or don't have extras so likely I'll 'pull the trigger' As the American Pickers guys would say sometimes the time to buy is when you find it, especislly if it's rare or unusual. Hard on the pocket book though!!! |

Be glad you aren't looking for Surrey hubcaps! Have you tried Harry Sheets at Midwest Willys yet...He did have some when I called him quite a while back..and at the time he was under $100. He does ship, too. |

Actually I never thought of. Harry (who I'v talked to several times and is a super nice guy. I just saw a opportunity and jumped. Thr first of next week he's supposed to go to his dad's and get them and have the tire dismounted and check on shipping. We've talked several times. He never heard back from the other guy who was interested so we're supposed to have a deal although no funds have been exchanged yet. As for the surrey hubcaps I'v got 5 of them in pretty decent shape but IF I were to decide to spruce my Dj up with them I'd find myself still needing two more for the Dj trailer I'm working on in my head. So there's ANOTHER catch 22. I'v been pretty busy so just now getting into the beginning stages of jumping waist deep into sorting out my wiring project. ![]() That's pieces of old harnesses I'v managed to collect from here, there, and yonder in the past year. I truly dont anticipate any (too many anyway) problems with sorting out and re-using the correct ends and connectors, or even the lengths and where they go. The main problem I'm in the beginning stages of sorting out now are some of the guage cluster colors. Mine are a bit too faded to identify and if they are accurately documented somewhere I havent found it yet so I'm trying to work it out from clues I'm fiinding here and there. The other wires, headlight, gas tank, key and light switch, turn signal wires, tail lights and various engine wires are better documented than the shorter guage cluster wires themselves. Anyway, that's another thread that I'll try to take my time and document details so maybe someday someone else will have a easier time than I am if they were mto want to go to the trouble to make their own. Oh, by the way and since you've mentioned it, if somebody does have a couple extra of the surrey hubcaps give me a shout, I might (probably) would be interested 'just in case. Besides that roofing has been pretty decent lately so I could probably get away with paying a fair price. Oh, and while perfection is always a huge plus something from the scratch and dent section would certainly be considered!!!
