All MB, GPW M38, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, DJ-3A and CJ-3B use 80" wheelbase frames. All M38-A1, DJ-5 and pre 1972 CJ-5 use 81" wheelbase frames. 80" frames are roughly 120" OAL while 81" frames are roughly 126" OAL. Mainly the 81" wheelbase frames use longer leaf springs. Also the 81" wheelbase frames have different body mount locations than the 80" wheelbase frames. |
