A equalizer I made and installed a long time ago until I recently found a correct original one on ebay as shown above to replace it with.

Great info Charles.
1. Need to know whether the brake cable runs under the screw fixed onto the equaliser? Do that it doesn't get dislodged when in action.
2. Length of the equaliser itself
3. Length of the rear hand brake cable on either sides, upto the point it enters the drum.
Hope to get the info top have a functional handbrake at the moment.

Update on finding the e brake calipers.. .
Found a complete set of the e brake calipers and the hooks from a donor dj3a. Would need help as I prepare the parts and the dj to get those working.
