I've been seeing a few plugs on various forums about the new 'Dispatcher' Magazine published by Bill Norris and Kevin Banonis Things like this from the Cj2A forum http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/the-disp...topic35244.html Here from Dave at ewillys http://www.ewillys.com/2015/06/01/the-new-...tcher-magazine/ And this from the CJ3B forum http://z4.invisionfree.com/CJ3B_Bulletin_B...?showtopic=6586 Along with Derek's write up and review here on the CJ3B forum http://www.cj3b.info/Literature/TheDispatcher.html And now for my own shameless plug because the most recent copy includes what I sincerely wanted to be the best and most comprehensive magazine article ever written about the history of DJ3A Dispatchers. To accomplish that I first contacted Mr. Norris who graciously gave me his permission to submit the article. Since there is so much misinformation or maybe better said unknown information out there on these early DJ's I turned to what I consider to be some of the best DJ3A historians in the world to help me with fact checking, editing, and additional information. In that light I now thank Colin Peabody, Glen Byron, SteveK, Bruce Agan, and Fbill for helping me with this article. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So if you have a DJ3A Dispatcher or are interested in DJ3A's along with all other flat fendered jeeps I suggest you contact http://norris-banonis.com/dispatcher.html And get your subscription in today!!! ps guys, I never cashed the check nor do I intend to. In ALL of our names I am now officially stating that I am donating it back to the magazine. Charles Tate |

That is a cool article! What I like about this magazine is its emphasis on classic Willys and the regular Willys guys like us. Since we are a small group in the big picture, I know it takes a lot for Bill and Kevin to keep publishing the magazine. I'm glad they do it out of love for the jeep and love for the community! |
