Worked on the Speedo assembly based on the input. Found a 17 teeth Speedo driven gear, but could not find the part holding the Speedo driven gear in the housing. I'm trying to fabricate or modify a similar part out of another car. Need details on the bush that holds the Speedo driven gear. Regards. Dinesh

This is a little longer than you need, but better than what you 'don't have'... http://www.kaiserwillys.com/product/2321/w...rts-accessories At least you can see the parts needed in the pics. Good Luck! BTW, Old Fords uses a similar end part. Maybe Charles can re-post his Ford Gears site for a peek if it is available there. |

Here what I have in hand is the cable and the gear similar to the ones seen in the 4wd cjs. Trying to fabricate a holder to house the Speedo driven gear and add up the cable end. Let's see if that works. Hope so. Thanks and regards. Dinesh. I shall go through a course on how to post pictures very soon. |

Charles, I can't keep up with the logic, but..your P.S. needs a correction.....FYI...The hole placement you are referencing belongs to the 'governor', not the "solenoid". BTW, it is 'threaded'. |

Lol!!! No computer and only a small phone screen to type on makes writing things more difficult than it should be
That site would have only worked for the old T96 combination Borg-Warner R-10 overdrive transmissions which did not come out at all on regular DJ3A Dispatchers. Charles |
