I just found out Dispatcher Jeeps will be well represented at the June 3,4 2016 Willys Jeep Rally in Ohio. see link... http://www.mw-willysjeep.com/schedule-of-events.aspx Besides our good friend Glenn being a 'presenter' at the event armed with pictures and information of Dj3A's, but also a newly added to the data base 1964 Dispatcher has been pulled out of a barn napping there from the 70's. Jason just told me he plans on being at the Rally with his family's very rare, very complete, and with lots of options, and in excellent condition all original 64 Dj for the event. I wish I could be there. Djs are bound to make a favorable impression on the 4WD folks. I wonder if Jason realizes just how addicted to Willys Jeeps he's going to be when he gets home? |

Hello, Just a WEEK to go till we leave Maine for The Willys Jeep Rally in Ohio. It's an 1100 mile adventure with my Son and two Grandchildren helping this aging Willys Nut to be in the middle of another great Willys only event. Today we worked on a Power Point Display for the banquet presentation. Hopefully, I can make the Odd Child DJ3A of Willys Overland a more understood member of the family, especially with some local talent like the one above to behold. We'll also reunite with The MAHL Willys Jeep Loader freshly restored by Standard Iron and Wire Works, a giant MN Co-operation, who built it in 1947-48. This is the first time out for their Post WWII product as shown in The Willys Special Equipment Catalog, and possibly the only one left to study. I'm bringing a few left over Willys Special Goodies to sell at the Flea Market. With all the Working Willys Presentations, this should be a show to remember. Derek is planning to be there, so we should get some of his feedback results on this site. |

I sure do wish I could be there! I'm fond of Ohio anyway. The last time I was there I picked up a whole pickup truck load of almost pristine DJ running gear and other parts that had been in a barn, or old garage? for over 30 years I was told. There was even a set of 5 Surrey hubcaps thrown in with that load for a additional 125.00 so you DJ guys keep your eyes open and look behind every corner that you can while in that state. And I don't even have to say....take lots of pictures at that Rally!!!! Wow, what a opportunity for you guys!!! |

Hello dear friends, Good to know the DJ being represented well at the meet. I would count on some help to find the unmarked wheel caps for15 inch rims for my1964 DJ. Good luck and best wishes to all DJ fans at the meet. Regards. Dinesh |
