Hello all,

I am new to the forum, as I just purchased a 1964 Dispatcher. I am in need of some parts to complete a nearly all original example. Here is a list of what I need so far:

1- 13" steel rim for spare

2- 13" chrome "dog dish" plain hubcaps

1- bracket to mount turn signal switch to column (mine is broken)

1- passenger side tail light-complete (mine is damaged)

2- windshield wiper arms and blades

1- wooden block for hood

2- hood latches

I know these parts are rare, but I have purchased some new parts, and I am not satisfied with them. I you or someone you know has some of these items for sale, please let me know.

Thank you,

Jason

Hi Jason. It's nice to finally meet you. There's a good description of what to look for in dj3a dispatcher wiper arms and blades in this thread. As you can see they cross reference with a few other jeeps but research indicates they are correct.

See eBay item #172149995162 he still has 3 left

http://m.ebay.com/itm/172149995162

You'll see on that thread that 9" are correct but 10" wiper blades are recommended.

You may also need acorn nuts.

I'v got Steve's old original hall lamp tail lights, later I bought some lens on eBay, the lights are now restored in primer and they are for sale as a pair. The wires and sockets are good. They have the real glass inserts instead of plastic like the reproductions. The lens I bought are plastic but original for hall-lamp. Pricy yes but not out of line at all for what I've seen other originals sell for. 140.00 plus shipping for the pair. I can get you pictures.

I think I've got a extra turn signal bracket. No charge for that, I'd only need your address.

Can't help on the rim, hubcap, and latches, block

Harry Sheets may can help with the latches and block or keep a eye on eBay.

Anything else you find you need please feel free to list. I or some of the others may have it.

Charles

Ps. I was thinking. I 'may' have a usable hall light that was on the 62. If so it will be very rusty, unrestored, and super duper cheap. If useable I could electrically d-rust, throw in a couple of extra lens so both of yours would match. I'll have to check on that one tonight to make sure.

I have an update on my parts search. I need to send a big thank you to Charles Tate for helping me out on the turn signal bracket and the taillight. He also told me where to find the wiper arms and blades. His generosity is greatly appreciated. I also want to thank Steve for coming through with hood latches.

I still am looking for the rim, hubcaps and one hood block. Please let me know if you have any for sale.

Thank you,

Jason
