Hi,

I found a 1961 surrey gala? Serial 56337 18028 engine 3j 18717? is it worth anything the floor looks like Swiss cheese. 4x2 It was pink but it's green now.
What parts should I look for on it that are hard to find? No steps or top bows looks like everything else may be there.
I'll try to post some pictures

Welcome to the world of DJs. The main things I see that have been changed are the steering wheel, the electric wiper motor, and the front wheel shows 5 lugs and standard would be 4 lug 15" wheels. The front bumper is after market, but the splash pan behind it is there. Is there a rear seat? You might find some foot man loops on the front fenders and windshield frame for straps to tighten the Surrey top. I think the step was optional. Is there a rear gas tank with filler cap above right rear tail light? What kind of tail lights does it have? With more pics others will help, but this is a start. Looks pretty solid for a good project. Have Fun!
EDIT: I just wanted to give you a link from the Late Bruce Agan that we unfortunately lost this year. He was one of the most knowledgeable people on Surreys and put together a really complete and helpful site. I'm not sure how long it will be available, but try to check it out. http://www.jeepsurreygala.com/
