Hello friends, Started with the wiring on the dj3a. Have a query on how the rear turn signal lights would flash? Would the lights in the rear brake lamps work as turn signal lights? Thanks. |

Dinesh, The short answer is yes. The tail lights should have two filaments. The smaller (dimmer) filament is the tail light function that lights when you pull out the light switch in either notch - to light when the "Parking Lights" are on as well as the "Headlights" are on. The other heavier (brighter) filament is the brake light filament. It lights when the brakes are pressed (though the brake light switch circuit). If you have a turn signal switch, the brake light switch circuit is wired through the turn signal so that if the turn signal is activated, that side (either left or right) will blink using the heavier brake filament. If you push the brake pedal to light the heavier brake filament and activate the turn signal, that filament still works but will blink instead of illuminating steady like the other brake light. |
