Hello dear friends Keen to install side steps on the dj3a, may I ask for help from the expert forum on the location of holes and the pattern of the side steps used in dj3a? Kindly help with pictures and measurement if possible. Thanks again. Regards. Dinesh |

Dinesh, Are you talking about these side steps? http://www.cj3apage.com/index/Tech_Tips/Or...nstructions.htm Not sure if you have an original set or not. There was a lot of info posted on these steps on the CJ2A Forum: http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/side-ste...ame+brace#29100 Also, there was a post from MDJuan where they've added these to their inventory: http://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/mdjuan-t...l?KW=side+steps Long thread on MDJuan tubs - just make sure you're on page 26 near the bottom to see the post on the side steps (including the stock numbers) in case you need to order them. Hope this helps. |

Thanks Rus Curtis for the information. Would the steps on the dj3a mount the same way as in the cj2a and 3a? Regards. dinesh |

As the tubs are essentially the same, I'd assume so. The only difference I am aware of is the steps had a different rear support bracket for the new CJ 5 model as the tub changed. That difference in the rear support bracket could easily be altered using the patterns in my previous post. |
