I am pleased to announce that Charles Tate, also known as "Papa C", has agreed to become Moderator of this DJ-3A Dispatcher Forum! Many of you are familiar with Papa C from his posts here, and I think that Oldtime has been after him for a while to consider taking on the job. Oldtime has occasionally stepped in to look after this forum when necessary, but he has his hands full with the CJ-3B and Buy/Sell Forums.

You guys are all pretty well behaved, and the discussion is quite productive, so I hope that the job will be mostly a pleasure, and I expect that Charles will come up with some ideas that may make this forum even more useful for owners of Dispatcher and Surrey Jeeps. Welcome Charles -- thanks for taking this on! And thanks to Oldtime for all he has done and continues to do for the CJ-3B Bulletin Board!

Derek

Thank you Derek and I want to join you in thanking OLDTIME for everything he has done.

As moderator I'll do my best. To me that will start with trying to figure out better ways to make DJ3A Dispatcher information on this section of the forums more readily accessible through searches. I encourage all of my friends to keep helping both me and others with any questions that may come up concerning their own DJ's. We all love any pictures and other information that anyone would like to share so I'm definitely encouraging that. If you have problems posting pictures feel free to contact me and I'll help for sure!

Hopefully I'll continue to learn myself in the process as we go along!!!

Yes Derek, Glad you put him to task. Ha Ha !
I think Charles will make a great moderator on this forum.

He sure has the Willys drive alrighty.
It's just not the 4 wheel drive. Ha Ha !

Actually I've been slacking up a lot.
So many of the previously posted topics are easily searchable and they remain valid.
I've been cheating a lot by visiting the other jeep forums in order to satisfy my early trans model fetishes.

I'd like to thank Doug Hoffman who has and still continues to provide me and others with behind the scenes technical support. Thanks Doug !

And thanks to Derek for your consistant efforts to maintain a top quality website !

Stay in close touch Charles, as we will have ideas to share....
