Michael Crabtree has dominated NFL headlines for the past week or two. Probably the most hyped rookie WR in the NFL this season Marques Colston Saints Jersey , Crabtree feels that he deserves the salary of a top-5 pick, despite the fact that he was picked 10th overall. Talk about an egomaniac! The wide receiver claims he'll skip out on the season as a result.
Crabtree's ego is bigger than a football field. While he's extremely talented, his attitude has been frowned upon by the media and his peers. Take this smaller example, which dates back to his college days. Crabtree would refuse to eat the food that the rest of his Texas Tech teammates ate, and would force someone to pick up food from an outside restaurant for him. If Crabtree does miss the 2009 season Marques Colston Womens Jersey , it would probably hurt Crabtree himself more than it'd hurt San Francisco.
Here's why: Michael Crabtree Is Not A Guaranteed Top 5 Pick Next Year. He may not be top 10, for all it matters, because the 2010 Draft Class may be one of the most stacked classes in recent memory. Not many teams are going to want to build around a selfish, egotistical WR who sat out one year. We've seen what has happened with TO and Chad Johnson.....no team wants to go through that, regardless of the talent of the receiver. In the 2010 NFL Draft Marques Colston Elite Jersey , you're looking at top-rated prospects such as DT Ndamukong Suh, FS Taylor Mays, QB's Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow....and possibly even players like Brandon Spikes, Sam Bradford, Jevan Snead Authentic Marques Colston Jersey , Jahvid Best, Eric Berry, etc. Now I'm not saying that all of these will go top 5, or even top 10, but they're definitely candidates to be picked high Marques Colston Jersey , should all of them enter the draft.
