I¡¯ve now run almost 50 miles in Nike Air Max 90 Hommes France the Nike Pegasus 31, and overall I have to say I¡¯m incredibly impressed. By specs, the Peg 31 is very much a conventionally structured running shoe with a lot of cushion. My size 10 pair weighs in at just over 10.5 oz, and Running Warehouse lists the stack at 31mm heel, 18mm forefoot (the 4-5 mm thick insole adds a bit more to that) Note that Nike claims 10mm drop for the Peg ¨C I had a hard time measuring due to the integrated upper liner so could not confirm, but I think it¡¯s higher than 10mm. In any case, the Peg 31 is probably the highest drop shoe that I¡¯ve put this many miles on since 2009-2010. Any issues I had today I don¡¯t blame so much on the shoes, but rather on my approach to using them. If you plan to try out the Free 3.0¡¯s, respect the advice to ease your way into training with them. I figure I can go up to 10 miles or so in them without trouble, but I need to slowly work my way up to distances further than that. I won¡¯t be using them for this coming marathon in Vermont (I¡¯ll probably wear my Saucony Fastwitch 2¡¯s), but I wouldn¡¯t discount their use in a marathon Nike Air Max 1 Femme Pas Cher at some point down the road as I strengthen the foot and leg muscles that they target. The Free 3.0¡¯s are remarkably comfortable just to wear around the house, and they¡¯re worth a try for anyone wanting to work their way into the minimalist running approach. Mine are guaranteed a spot in my rotation, and who knows, they might just take their spot exclusively. The heel lug pattern is still as bothersome to me as it was before. It just adds weight while giving nearly no usable traction benefit. If they can dial in the outsole without messing up the rest of the shoe for version 3, it really would be the best all around lightweight trail shoe on the market.Overall ImpressionsThe Nike Terra Kiger 2 is a fantastic shoe overall. Even with the bunk outsole design, it still might be the best lightweight trail shoe on the market. Appearance: As always, Nike pays careful attention to the appearance of their shoes, and the Free Run+ is no different in this regard. It¡¯s a great looking shoe, and comes in just about any color you can imagine ¨C this fact alone seems to be a testament to Nike¡¯s confidence that the shoe would be a big seller. Ads for the Free Run+ are colorful and highlight the shoe¡¯s flexibility, and it¡¯s one of the few more minimalist shoes that you will see on the walls of shopping mall shoe stores like Foot Locker and Finish Line. Regardless of your preference regarding cushion, I think there is something to be found here for everyone and that may be the Kiger¡¯s biggest selling point. If you prefer more cushion, the Kiger will offer enough to feel comfortable and will likely feel fast and light for you. If you come from a minimalist/natural running perspective the Kiger still is a fairly light, low drop, and flexible shoe that will offer just a little more cushion than you might be used too (but, like me, you might grow to like it). As far as Nike trail runnin Nike Air Max 1 Homme Pas Cher g shoes go, this is as good as it gets. For any Nike Free fans looking for a trail option this would be the first shoe I would start with. I¡¯m even considering given the Wildhorse a try to see how it compares on the run. One of my areas of concern with v2 of the Wildhorse was durability of the upper, particularly in the area of the forefoot. I didn¡¯t experience any tearing in my pair, but the material appeared to be pilling/fraying a bit at the surface and I don¡¯ Nike Air Max 2015 France Pas Cher t think they could handle hundreds of miles on the trail. |
