If I have one complaint about the shoe, it¡¯s that I Adidas ZX Flux Femme Pas Cher can feel the stitching that attaches the stripes to the upper under my arch on one side. I was initially really concerned that this would dig into my skin and either rub it raw or cause a blister. However, it has not been an issue on the run, and it would be fairly easy to remove the offending stitch row without compromising the structure of the shoe.

adidas Adipure Adapt sideThe other big difference between the uppers of the Gazelle and Adapt is that the latter fits very tight. In photos of the Adapt (e.g., at left), you¡¯ll note that it¡¯s almost always curled up from front to back. This is because the tight stretch of the upper pulls up on the front and back of the sole. I¡¯m sure the reason for this is that it keeps the shoe securely attached to the foot since there are no laces, but I much prefer the fit of the lace-up Gazelle. The heel and midfoot fit snugly, and the forefoot of the Gazelle is spacious ¨C there is much more give to the Gazelle upper in the forefoot compared to the Adapt(very easy to wiggle your toes around and up-down). The Gazelle also feels like it may run a bit longer than the Adapt, but I wear the same size 10 as I do in most other shoes.

Given that the Raven 3 is being replaced by the Raven Boost (which was just released), and the Riot 6 will likely be updated in the spring, this review Adidas Adi Ease Homme France may come a bit late. However, I¡¯ve enjoyed the Raven 3 so much that I really wanted to give a nod to what I think is a really great protective, smooth riding, yet responsive shoe that is probably one of the most well-rounded trail shoes I¡¯ve run in.

According to Running Warehouse, the Motion is a 7.5oz, 8mm drop shoe (stack height = 23mm heel, 15mm forefoot) targeted as a first step toward less shoe:adidas MotionRunning Warehouse lists the the adidas Gazelle as a 6.0oz, 6mm drop shoe (stack height = 17mm heel, 11mm forefoot) that would seem to fit squarely in the transitional category:adidas GazelleRunning Warehouse lists the adidas adipure Adapt as a 4.8oz, 4mm drop shoe (stack height = 15mm heel, 11mm forefoot) ¨C this is the most minimal of the three shoes:

The Adios is not without its downsides however. The interior is scratchy and not suitable for sockless running, which is not a deal breaker, but given some of the great uppers out there nowadays I find it surprising when a shoe pays seemingly little attention to interior feel. My bigger issue with the Adios is that the toebox is too tapered at the front. The width is fine at the ball of my forefoot, but from that point forward the shoe tapers to a very distinct point, which causes considerable toe scrunching, particularly the little toe. Going up a half size might help with this, but I much prefer the forefoot shape of the Hagio to that of the Adios (I do feel like the Adios runs about a half size smaller than the Hagio, which might be part of the problem). If there is one single factor that would keep the Adios out of my regular rotation, the tapered toebox would be it (a bit surprising to me as I thought the heel would be the problem).

9. New Balance MT910v2, Summer 2015 ¨C New Balance was the brand I was first rawn to back in 2010 when I started running in earnest, and the then MT100 and later MT101 were mainstays in my lineup for the first year or so of my running. I ran a fair bit in the MT110v1, but since then I have been fairly unimpressed with NB¡¯s offerings, especially on the trail front. I have hope that this will change with the new MT910v2, which is a full top to bottom update to the 910. I assumed the 910 last year was basically a lower budget Leadville 1210 (they were very similar spec-wise including the same last). The updates tha Adidas Gazelle OG Homme Vente t NB has put into the 910v2 should help differentiate it from the 1210 with a more aggressive outsole, rock plate, and they¡¯ve put it on the PL-8 last for a more performance fit instead of the UL last (higher volume) that the 1210 is on. RevLite midsole is a single piece, 10mm forefoot/18mm heel. It will be interesting to see how it rides, but I like the simplicity in the design in both the outsole and midsole and it looks to be both durable, protective and nimble a Adidas LA Trainer Homme Boutique t the same time. Hoping it runs that way too!
