I¡¯ll start by saying that the majority of my miles Nike Roshe Run UK cheap Trainers in the Wildhorse 2 have been on ice or snow covered sidewalks or on packed snow on trails near my house. There is no bare trail available up here this time of year, so I can¡¯t comment on performance on dirt or mud. However, loose snow over ice is about as challenging as it gets for traction so I think I have a good handle on how they perform. This is one area where I really think Nike did well with this shoe. Before getting to the good stuff, I should mention that I had to cut the arch area away on the sockliner/footbed because it seemed to cause blisters on my arch at times. I did this on the Kiger and Kiger 2 as well ¨C since the interiors of all three of the Nike shoes are completely seamless it appears to be a footbed-specific issue. Not a problem overall because it is fixed very easily with some scissors. It¡¯s just somewhat annoying to have to do this to every new Nike shoe that I buy. The only area where I have a bit of a problem is with the medial forefoot ¨C I¡¯d prefer a Nike Air Max 2015 Mens Trainers UK more solid base in this area as I tend to pronate a lot and the forefoot of the Frees can tend to bend/cave a bit in this are due to the siping close to the medial margin (the most medial sipe often fills with grit/gravel during my runs). One result of this for me is that I sometimes get a hot spot along the inner ball of my foot behind the big toe when running in Frees, and the 5.0+ is no different in this regard. I have a fairly long history with the Nike Free line of shoes. My first step into more minimal footwear was with the Free 3.0 v1 back in 2009. I loved that shoe, and would rank it up with my favorite running shoes of all time (or at least since I started running seriously back in 2007). I haven¡¯t followed Nike¡¯s offerings for that long. In fact, the only Nike shoe I¡¯ve spent time running in prior to this year was the Nike Zoom Streak XC 3 (now sold, with an updated upper design, as the Zoom Streak LT 2). This year I¡¯ve run in three Nike shoes: Terra Kiger v1, Kiger v2 and the Zoom Elite 7. Just like I was pleasantly surprised with the Kiger, and quite impressed with the Kiger 2, I was also somewhat impressed with the Elite 7 when trying it on. I had tried on the Pegasus 31 not long before, and while the Elite 7 has some similarities to the Peg 31 (even beyond its looks), I found the fit and feel of the Elite to be a little more to my liking. The main differences are a lower drop at 8mm compared to the 10mm of the Peg, firmer midsole, forefoot zoom unit (Peg 31 only has one in the heel) and slightly lower stack heights.I¡¯ve now run well ove Nike Air Max 2015 Womens uk sale r 75 miles in the Zoom Elite 7, about 50% on road and 50% on mostly hardpack, non-technical trail. Below are my thoughts at this point. The 3.0 is also a great choice as part of a shoe rotation if you want something to force you foot to do a bit more work on occasional workouts. My only real concern with this shoe is the price tag ¨C $140 is pretty steep, and the slightly cheaper 4.0 offers a similar ride and a more traditional Flyknit upper. If you can affor d it though, the Free 3.0 Flyknit is worth a try!
