In the photo below of my well-worn pair, it almost Nike Dunk High Womens usa sale looks as if the upper has molded to my foot shape a bit: The upper mesh consists of two layers, the outer layer is very open and stretchy, and the inner layer is a closed mesh that effectively keeps debris out of the shoe (a potential problem with a shoe that has very open mesh). Given the form-fitting yet stretchy nature of the upper, the inner closed mesh does make the shoe run a bit warm on a hot day, but breathability is massively improved from v4.

I¡¯m happy to announce that Nike has redeemed themselves with the Free 3.0 v5. It¡¯s a shoe worthy of the lineage to which it belongs, and is probably the best Nike Free of any flavor that I¡¯ve worn since the original Free 3.0 (Disclosure: the shoes reviewed here were provided free-of-charge for review purposes by Running Warehouse).

Several interesting studies have come out over the past few weeks that have in one way or another focused on the running foot strike. The first that I¡¯m going to cover is by Jason Bonacci and colleagues and Nike Dunk Low Womens usa sale addresses how running mechanics differ between barefoot running and running in a ¡°minimalist¡± shoe (Nike Free 3.0), racing flat (Nike Lunaracer 2), and ¡°regular¡± running shoes (a runner¡¯s typical training shoe, variable by individual). The study is titled ¡°Running in a minimalist and lightweight shoe is not the same as running barefoot: a biomechanical study¡± and was released in Online First form on the British Journal of Sports Medicine website.

5. Flex. The flexibility of the Free shoes due to their deeply grooved outsole (see picture below) is the real deal ¨C these shoes flex as well as almost any other that I have worn, and it was one of the things I noticed immediately the first time that I put them on. I do believe that they work your feet in ways that stiffer traditional shoes cannot, and this is a big plus for the Nike Free line.Nike Free 3.0 Soles Soles of the 1st generation (top) and 2nd generation (bottom) Nike Free 3.0. Aside from greater wear on the top shoe, the sole looks to be identical.

This pitch shows that Nike is aiming squarely at the barefoot/minimalist running trend with this new shoe, yet I find it somewhat surprising then that the shoe is billed as having ¡°increased support under the arch for improved stability¡± and ¡°more cushioning for an exceptional ride.¡± Both of these run counter to the whole idea of minimalist and barefoot running, which preaches less support and less cushioning (and the best example of a shoe minimizing these is the Vibram Fivefingers).

This is reminiscent of the Nike Free Flyknit that they released last year. I tried the Free Flyknit on at a Nik Nike Free 5.0 Flyknit Mens cheap sale e Outlet a few months ago (they were on a steep discount) and found them to be incredibly tight fitting, almost uncomfortably so. The reason being I think is that instead of a tongue and more traditional lacing, they rely on the tight fit of the Flyknit weave to hold the foot on top of the sole platform. It felt almost like a tight compression sock on top of a shoe sole. In his report on the Frees, Jeff Dengate reports that the new Free 3.0 v6 also has a rathe Nike Free 5.0 V2 Mens cheap sale r tight fit, and this may kill the 3.0 for me.
