This is a topic about a new concept I am deciding to make. I am tired of having to list all the rules for a clan match. So, I am standardizing the clan rules process. STANDARD CLAN WAR RULES -No Ghosting (Revealing Player Location or HP while dead) *This will result in either a round or map loss depending on the circumstances* -1 HE grenade per round per person (does not include ones picked from dead bodies) -No Auto Sniping -No Excessive Spawn Camping -If two players are related, or are in viewing range of another players PSP screen, they may not be in the match, or even spectate. Any breaking of these rules means an automatic forfeit for that team (unless otherwise noted) The team opposite the team that has committed the offense may choose to not penalize the other team. MATCH SETUP A substitute must be given by each team. A referee must be present at the match. Both teams must totally agree on a time and server. Each Clan War consists of Three Matches (First one to win 2 matches wins the Clan War) Each Clan must pick one map, and their choice of team for that map. Both teams must agree on a tiebreaker map and sides for that map. A team wins a map by being the first to get ten wins on that map. The first round (usually a pistol round) DOES COUNT, though if a team starts with 2 wins before that round, then that team must go to 12, etc. The Config:
Standard guns.txt for Clan Wars Spoiler: click to toggle This may be updated from time to time. SERVER REQUESTING If You would like to request a server for use in a clan war, do so here as well. I am able to host my server and referee (I do both), and can also record the match, if you would like me to do so. |

Personally I believe in camping. Its a real life strategy used by the military, and in real life I'm guessing you'd use it too. I mean, you're not just going to rush in and get blasted to bits by the bad guys, are you? Same concept applies here. Well, I didnt mean to turn this into a rant, but I just wanted to say what I thought about the "No camping" rule... |

Good idea. Pinned. However, why does Nightmare guns have to be used in every single clan war? You might as well make a rule saying "since CSPSP-S is superior you must use it in a clan war". |

Yes, something we can all agree on. Some people haven't even heard of Nightmare guns so why should they be used in all matches? |

Well, SCWR are a good idea. But I wouldn't say every clan war has to be like this. It is just a thing to speed up the organization. A: "SCWR?" B: "OK!" Ready! And by the way, I think move speed 2.0 with knife is a little bit too fast. On smaller maps like de_dust2 or office2D it will be UnrealTournament-ish. I prefer 1.7, anyway. |

Heres an idea. How about the guns.txt being used includes original CSPSP gun names (for ease of use), source-ish values, and knife speed turned down to 1.8 or 1.7? |

Yep, agree. And I actually have no problem with the source names they are just unusual. |

UT style is not awesome if it's in CSPSP which results in 2-seconds-through-the-map. |
