THey shoud've made him a five-jumper focusing on weak ranged, able to transform into Ganon. |

Did you just say 5 jumper? Like able to jump 5 times? Because that'd be dumb. |

You mean teleportation, invulnerability, and the ability to swarm the entire battlefield with fire bats? |

Better'n floating. And Ganon'd be easy. Slow heavyweight, firebat ranged attack for B-->, and the west would be focusing on the trident and BS'd. |

Ability to jump alot is usually an ability given to weak characters aka characters that fly out of the screen easily. Ganondorf as a character is no such thing. |

NOt if we assume him to be a lightweight in his Greudo form. HIs abilities betray him as a mage. ANd mages aren't known for their physiques. |

Yes, but even gamewise Ganondorf came across as a heavyweight. he was more an overlord character than a typical mage. Strong, powerful, and versitile. |

If anything he'd be in Link's weight class. |

Not really. The way he floated made him seem light to me. THat and the fact that triforce transformations seem to be along the lines of the user's desire. IE, Zelda wanted a disquise, and the ability to defend herself, so she became Shiek. Would a heavyweight WANT to become slower and even more muscular? I SAY THEE NAY! A heavyweight would know the restrictions of physical strength. |

Are we seriously discussing whether Ganondorf was a light-weighted Magic base or a heavyweight Power base? Triforce of Power, anyone? |

Only arguing how a game-based Ganondorf WOULD work. It'd be closer that what was in already, anyway. |

Ganondorf didn't bother me, neither did Luigi, Falco, or Roy. Dr.Mario, Pichu, and Young Link were just pointless. Dr.Mario had NO DIFFERENCES from Mario aside from the pills, Pichu hurt himself, and Young Link just seems like a filler thrown in at the last moment. |

Dr. mario I thought was a nice little reference to the old game and completley unexpected. Pichu and Falco I didn't care for at all. |

Dr. Mario could have just as easily been a costume for Mario. Would you have both classic Wario and Wario Ware Wario or make one a costume? <_< |

Yes. But Ganondorf is still not going to be a light-weight mage type character. Ever. EVER. That's Zelda's archetype. There are three basic principles, three elements, that compose many game-based matters, and they appear in Zelda in full swing. Fighter. Mage. Thief. Warrior. Caster. Rogue. Strength. Intellect. Versatility. In our case, they manifest as Power. Wisdom. Courage. Ganondorf. Zelda. Link. Just as Link is the thief, the rogue, the versatile bandit who depends on skill, speed, and having the right tools for the right job, just as Zelda is the mage, the caster, the intelligent thinker whose taken mystical learnings and understanding at the cost of physical prowess, Ganondorf is the fighter, the warrior, the strong, heavyweight behemoth that crushes his enemies beneath his feet. Where the Mage moves with diplomacy, using her mind to resolve her issues and the Thief moves with skill and a crafty toolbelt, the Warrior, in this case Ganondorf, moves with a sledgehammer. Ganondorf is not a lightweight. To make Ganondorf a lightweight is an insult to the character. He is Power. |

If he is power, then why did he strike at Link with fairly weak SPELLS ONLY from a DISTANCE for the entire durration of his time as Ganondorf during the battle? |

Dispite the fact that LInk had a large amount of weaponry designed to kill him, an equal amount of godpower, the sword of Evil's Bane, AND had defeated all his best servants and strongest warriors? DId Din's triforce fry his brain or something? |

He's a deluded power freak. Link, despite his actions and armaments, is a child, while he, Ganondorf, is the bearer of Power. Note, when Link actually proved himself capable, what did Ganon turn to? Big. Hulking. Behemoth. |
