Scuse me Armor != non spellcaster. I prefer the D&D interpretation of Cleric to the JRPG interpretation, and I would be willing to bet the Triforce would Bestow Divine magic to someone if they did not specify a particular type. And there are plenty of brawn based characters that use magic to enhance phiscal characteristics. |

You're treating Ganondorf like a person that wants to specialize in a specific job. That's not what he does. He's into pure power. Notice his spells are almost purely destructive. Evern Black Mages have some defenses and supportive spells. Also notice Ganodnorf tends to wear armor and uses a realy big sword, which he's actually quite good with. The guy is in it for POWER. It is possible to be really smart, skilled, and strong. Think about. Link uses swords and magic both, and Ganondorf has been training and preparing himself a lot longer than Link has. |

Can we just agree on "both" and leave it at that? |

We could, but then this wouldn't be the internet now would it? I fully support Alan's statement. |

How about we go with he started out training both, but when his magic got good enough he started using it to magicly bulk up, supplanting physical training, enabling him to spend more time on magic training which would essentially mean trainning in one area would boost both, doubling training efficiancy? |

Sounds somewhat accurate, although I can still picture him "training" in standard combat. (and by training, I mean basically just beating the crap out of people that are supposed to be his sparring partners.) |

ANd if by sparring partners you mean any attempts at rebelion, we have come to an agreement. |

That, and I can easily see him in his down time ordering a group of his best warriors (or maybe just the ones he doesn't like) to practice with him to keep his skills up. Keeps him from geting rusty AND inspired fear and terror! |

Nah, I disagree because of WInd Waker. THat clearly shows that he only trained against attempts at rebelion, which there were none of after the flooding of all gates to the Dark Relm. If he fought minions, why'd he put on the pounds? |

His best warriors composed, before he got the Triforce, of a few Gerudo, and after he got the Triforce, of a few moblins, I'm not convinced that'd be much training.

Meh. Finished NSMB. It was kinda fun I guess, although I'm still pissed about all the BLANTANT POWERUP GIVAWAYS in the game. |

I think you guys still missed the major point of what the original poster that started this argument ment. In SSBM Ganondorf didn't fell like Ganondorf, he felt like a slow, stronger version of captain falcon. Much like Falco, Mewtwo, and Ness really feel like what they were in the game. |

He didn't feel like that to me. Because I felt Captain Falcon should never have been in the game. His levels I liked, but a character from a racing game... How do we know that those are his origional moves? How do we know that *he* didn't steal them from Gannondorf? |

Because Gannondorf never used them on the 64, and Falcon did. |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.
