What about the layout and the button sizes? |

Luppy: That's perfectly fine, I liked my DS too. But just because the DS is good, doesn't mean the DS Lite can't be better. Alpha: The buttons are roughly the same size, but the DS Lite ones are a bit more puffy. The lay out is pretty much the same, with a few exceptions. The Start and Select buttons have been moved next to the bottom-right of the touch screen, and the Power button is gone, with a Power switch on the right side replacing it. The volume switch is in the same place, but the sound is clearer. The stylus is larger and inserts from the side, instead of from the top. The screen is the biggest difference. With the DS, I had trouble playing in medium light, but the DS Lite screen can handle pretty much any situation. In a prime situation, though, the DS Lite is *amazingly* clear. After starting it, I wondered how I ever managed to *see* the DS screen. |

Notty, what? Did you intentionally break your DS just so you could buy a lite? ![]() Those things are even less destructable than other Nintendo products... |

I don't know *how* I broke it! The last time I saw it in one piece, *I threw it on to some freaking pillows*. I don't understand it. |

It does, but the cartridge doesn't fit in all the way. |

DS Lite's just too small. Part of the GBA cartridge will stick out. |

But you can still play it? Good enough. Same thing happened with the SP. |

Hey, I've already got a DS. I don't care about the new model. After all, the SP didn't have a god-damned headphone jack so I figured the DS Lite would do something to the same affect. |

Nope. The DS Lite is perfect. I just don't think the improvements are worth shelling out the cash for another system that plays all the same stuff. |

I'm a bit miffed about the new DS web browser. Japan only AND it can't play .swf or video files. |

Yeah or pdfs. Seriously, I was actually thinking they could pack it with the tv tuner and stuff or something but if their going that cheap on the browser then just fegh it. |

DSes actually break quite easily. THe hinges are remarkably flimsy. |
