Everyone with free HD space and Bittorrent should get this. Its a torrent of Nintendo Power 87-01... even has strategy guides and some comics. Like a captain N comic.

So. I've been thinking about FFCC2 for the Wii. And I've come to the conclusion that this game could be either awesome, or a waste of time. If it requires DSes for multiplayer, which is logical and likely, it is a waste of my time. Granted, the wireless connection means I don't have to buy four adaptors (who'm I kidding? Of course you'll need to buy a device that will allow your Wii to read your DS!), BUT I know less people who have DSes than I know people who have GBAs, and I still can't get a full group together for FFCC1. On the other hand, if it doesn't, it'll be awesome. Here's how I see this working: You play the Wiimote like a standard controller. D-Pad and ABXY (or AaBb). A- Attack/Confirm. B- Run/Cancel. X/a- Item. Y/b- Magic. XY will have one spell/summon or item locked into that slot. To change the locked command, you pause your character, and flick the Wiimote left or right to choose Item or Magic. Then you flick it up or down to choose which spell/summon or item you want locked into that spot. What about the map, you ask? Easy. All four players press start, and the pause screen, with the map, comes down. As for the secret objective, let's make it less secret and more a racial objective. Clavats have to get hit, Yutes have to cast magic, Selkies have to focus attack, and Lilties have to regular attack. Whoever accomplishes their objective the most wins the first dibs on the treasure. This'll also encourage people to use their characters as they're supposed to. |

I am saying that Square needs a brick to the head for using the Wireless controller when it could very easily use the Gamecube Controller, since the Wii Controller probably won't add to gameplay. |

... Squenix hasn't announced that yet. That was MY idea. Also, I imagine that the nunchuck add-on will also work out somehow. |

oh okay, sorry to insult you personally, but the first rule of the Wii should be that the controllerchucks will only be used where it fits to be used, don't get all gimmicky with every game to use it. I want to see a Phantasy Star game using it though. |

I wasn't trying to be gimmicky. I mean, I was just coming up with something that didn't involve 4 DSes. |

The best way to do that would be to use the GC controllers, and not have to flick the controller to change the shortcuts. |

Eh. Maybe, instead of pausing, the act of turning the Wiimote from the horizontal "controller" position to the vertical "wand" position will pause someone's character. OR, you use the wand to aim your focus attacks/magic/items. |

I'm do gonna lose these controllers.... Wired had the distinct advantage of being connected to the system..... plus if these things take batteries, it will really suck... |

You probably charge them by sticking them in the Wii somewhere. I can't imagine having to buy batteries, what with the GBA SP and the DS having chargers. |
